Breslow Starling names two to membership in firm

Joe Warner, managing member of Greensboro, N.C.-based public accounting firm Breslow Starling, recently announced that the firm has admitted Yvette Frusciante and Herman Goins as new members in the firm.

Breslow Starling is one of the Triad region’s leading accounting and business consulting firms, and provides a comprehensive array of tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services to individuals and businesses in dozens of industries – from manufacturing and real estate to construction and health care. It is ranked among the largest firms in the Triad area by Triad Business Journal.

Frusciante, a native of Florida, brings more than two decades of experience to the table to benefit firm clients. Since joining the firm in 2003, she has worked with clients across multiple industries on evaluating and improving their internal control systems, conducting audits, and undertaking fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. She focuses her practice on internal controls, forensic accounting, fraud examination, and fraud deterrence/prevention. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is a CPA and certified in financial forensics (CFF). Frusciante is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services Section, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, and active in Professional Women of Winston-Salem.

Goins is a native North Carolinian who previously worked in corporate tax for Wachovia/First Union and in public accounting for PriceWaterhouse prior to joining Breslow Starling in 2005. Currently, he works cross-discipline on both tax and audit assignments, serving a variety of clients, many of them closely held entities, non-profit organizations, and in the entertainment arena. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University, and is a CPA active in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. He is a graduate of the Rainmaker Academy Leadership Development Program.
