Gail Perry, contributing editor of AccountingWEB and author of the Friday Excel Tips that appear in your weekly newswire, presented a workshop Thursday in which she shared some of her favorite tips.
Tips included shortcuts for maneuvering around your worksheet, saving, deleting, and renaming files, changing some of the default characteristics of the Excel program, working with charts, quick data entry, tips for former Lotus users, and methods for dealing with some of the quirks of the 2000 version of Excel.
You can read Gail's 20 top Excel tips in the full transcript of the workshop.
