From best practices in serving clients' needs to hands-on experience with advanced technology and optimized workflows, the CCH Connections: 2011 User Conference will connect professionals with people, products, and processes to help them be more successful. This year's conference will take place November 6-9 at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, is a global provider of tax, accounting, and audit information as well as software and services.

CCH Connections is a one-of-a-kind conference that delivers essential information, insight, and experiences for professionals to take back to the office to improve productivity and profitability. A key focus of the conference this year is helping firms achieve best in process performance by aligning the right solutions with optimized workflows across their firms.

Conference overview

CCH Connections will offer a full program of CPE-accredited sessions to help participants meet their professional needs and take full advantage of the latest information and technology. Sessions range from interactive lectures to workshops and are organized along five tracks: Accounting & Audit, Management, Tax, Technology, and General. Attendees can custom build their own program by choosing from a variety of classes and seminars best suited to their needs.

Session keynote speakers set the standard

In addition to outstanding sessions and programming, the conference will feature a keynote address from Paul DePodesta, New York Mets vice president, player development & scouting. DePodesta has made a career of evaluating, measuring, and assigning value to talent. He previously served as general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and executive vice president of the San Diego Padres. DePodesta will discuss the innovative strategies he used to create a winning team and how to apply those same strategies in the corporate world.

Also speaking at this year's conference is Tim Sanders, the former chief solutions officer at Yahoo! and New York Times best-selling author. He is the owner of Deeper Media, a company that conducts research on business trends, new media, and human behavior. In his presentations and his books – Love Is the Killer App, The Likeability Factor, and Saving the World at Work – Sanders explores a variety of topics, including people skills and how to build strong relationships that will help grow business.

Additional keynote speakers include Kevin Robert, CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, and Mike Sabbatis, president and CEO of CCH North America. These industry executives will share with attendees their insights into the profession and share where CCH is headed.
