When Jon Gosselin walked away from his wife in 2009, he also walked away from the income derived from their reality TV show, Jon & Kate Plus 8 (as in eight children – a set of twins and sextuplets).
After Gosselin left, the show continued with a truncated name, Kate Plus 8. Unfortunately for Jon, his income was also truncated, but his tax obligations were not. He hasn't paid any taxes since splitting with Kate, and as might be expected, the result is a tax lien in the amount of $39,000.
Gosselin is no longer in the public eye and has a normal income. However, court documents obtained by CBS News show that his split from Kate left him paying child support of $22,000 a month. Uncle Sam may have to get in line.
