Thanks for your comment Paul. It is true that customer service is important to the extent that very poor service will lose a client. However, excellent service rarely gains you new clients. That is much more likely to be relevant expertise and industry experience.

Thanks for your comment. You raise a great point about price. If your service is seen as a commodity (no real differentiators) price become more of a factor. If your service is seen as very relevant to solving their key business issues and not just a commodity, price has little or no impact on the buying decision. Thanks again...lwf

Thanks for your comment. The UK differentiators sound awfully familiar! It is sad that the profession is at least partially responsible for driving to commodity status by failing to differentiate. Thanks again...lwf
