Two Georgia firms - Tomasello, Plageman & Associates, LLC (TPA) and Robinson, Whaley, Hammonds & Allison, P.C. (RWHA) - have merged to become Whaley Hammonds Tomasello, P.C. (WHT), with a staff of thirty-two professionals.
"The joining of these two established, multigenerational CPA firms provides the opportunity to not only expand on our existing services to our clients, but also maintain the quality and commitment to which they've grown accustomed", says Greg Hammonds, President of RWHA. "Both practices are highly respected and well-known, with solid roots in the community and throughout Georgia. Our firms share the same values and visions of quality, commitment, and personal service."
William Tomasello, co-managing partner with John Plageman of TPA, says the partners and staff at RWHA bring extensive experience and credentials to the new partnership. He notes that his fellow professionals have established a substantial practice in varying fields of expertise, utilizing the highest advances in technology, which made for an ideal complement to TPA.
"They have a reputation of providing an enjoyable, professional, and balanced working environment for a talented staff, as well as a strong commitment to giving back to the community", says Tomasello, referring to his new partners. "It was the perfect opportunity to broaden our collective services, while maintaining the core principles of our practice."
WHT will continue as a full-service accounting firm serving a wide range of individuals, businesses, and organizations. Its various fields of expertise include audit, review and compilation services; tax preparation and planning; estate, trust, and gift planning; tax credit consulting; bookkeeping services; IRS representation; and business consulting, to name a few.
The firm has a specialization in accounting and consulting within the health care field. Additionally, WHT has certified fraud examiners on staff, who combine knowledge of complex financial transactions with an understanding of methods, law, and how to resolve allegations of fraud.
