The combined firm, which now includes nineteen CPAs, will operate out of LLG's Northbrook headquarters and a Michigan Avenue office in Chicago, which was the office of Pacion Ajder.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"We are excited to have Eugene Pacion join our team", said Bill Finestone, LLG's managing partner, in the press release. "He will help us to better serve our growing practice. We are committed to continuing the high level of service and expertise that are synonymous with LLG. Gene will add over forty years of experience and knowledge to LLG's advisory team and allow the professionals at LLG to further support his daily accounting and tax duties. Some of Gene's specialties include manufacturing and real estate."
LLG's accounting services expertise is in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, real estate, and professional practices, and it also provides services to US-based subsidiaries of foreign companies, Finestone told AccountingWEB.
Finestone said that the Pacion's experience will mesh with those of his firm. "The driving force behind this [merger] is that [Pacion's] skill set fits our organization, and we are able to provide some support he did not have before."
"Keeping the quality of services to our clients high is and always has been our number one concern", said Pacion, in the press release. "Becoming a part of LLG will allow us to provide a wider range of services to our valued clients. LLG shares our philosophy of helping clients grow and succeed. The merger will allow us to offer more specialized business advice tailored to our clients."
LLG was founded in 1944.
