Tax Reform Watch

Tax reform is part of the Trump Administration's initiative to create jobs and boost economic growth in the United States. The Republican-led Congress is currently pushing a package that includes reducing the tax bracket from seven to four (12 percent, 25 percent,35 percent and 39.6 percent); repealing the death tax and the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT); and lowering the corporate tax rate. This series focuses on the development of that plan and what the accounting and tax community has to say about the administration’s proposals.
