At the last event we covered, we decided to nix the stress balls and phone caddies to find a more meaningful way to interact with attendees. So we took some inspiration from the Humans of New York series, and asked attendees to share their messages of inspiration to the accounting community.
This week, we're at Scaling New Heights 2016 in the Bahamas and we asked attendees for their thoughts on the concept of "The Firm of the Future." Here are the amazing people that we met at the event along with their words of wisdom.
"If you don't focus on the firm of the future and you don't lead, then you will be left in the dust."
"I think it’s vital for accounting firms to be able to anticipate the needs of their clients. You have to understand the emerging technologies to serve your customers more effectively."
"You’ve got to be on top of everything for your clients. You need to make sure that they’re profitable and prospering. Not only to help them, but also to help yourself continue to be on the leading edge."
"Being the firm of the future is really important. We use all the latest technologies that we can possibly employ to make sure we can help our clients be more effective and efficient, and to make sure we’re effective in meeting their needs."
"Being a firm of the future is all about helping other people. We firmly believe that if everyone is doing what they love to do the world would better a better place. We want to live in a better world built on a foundation of thriving small businesses, and we do that by empowering your passion."
