Is money from an inheritance taxable?

$35,000 inheritance, IRA cashed in taxes paid, not in IRA now

The money is from IRAs that have been cashed in, and taxes have now been paid on this money. I live in Washington State. Everything I have read says this money would not be taxable income. However, any money I would make on the inheritance would be taxable. I'm trying to find the real answer.
