Home as office for tax purpose

Home as office for tax purpose

Didn't find your answer?

Hi. One of our clients has a Limited (Ltd.) company. As a director he often works from home. Based on that he pays from his company part of the mortgage for his house. I was wondering, can he use this expense for tax purposes or is not allowable?

I guess if we are running a home office, we can deduct the home office percentage from many of your household expenses such as mortgage interest. I am not certain about the detailed info of the same. For that, you have to consult with someone who works in this chinese restaurants near me field.

You can't deduct payments on mortgage, but you for sure are able to take other tax breaks on rental property
