Who’s Your Mentor?

It’s interesting to remember those who have been our mentors. Often our first mentor is a teacher or an older relative. Later in life, it might be a boss or coworker who provides guidance and direction. What I find fascinating is that our first mentor is often someone we stumble across by chance. We sign up for a course, or we take a job, and get assigned to a professor or a business leader who turns out to be someone with whom we can connect and grow. But often, later in life, we seek out mentors, people who have impressed us and from whom we think we can learn valuable insights.
