Atlanta-based Porter Keadle Moore, LLP Partner Dawn Patrick has been recognized as one of the Pathbuilders Achieva program's Inspira Women. Patrick is one of a group of influential executive-level women honored for achieving unparalleled success in their careers and making a significant impact on their respective communities since their participation in the Achieva program. Other honorees included women from several Fortune-ranked organizations including Turner, AT&T, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Georgia Power as well as an assortment of local businesses.
Pathbuilders Achieva is a leadership development program designed to develop the executive potential of high-performing women to help them to move their organizations forward while positioning themselves for growth and success. The program provides one-on-one mentoring by senior executive volunteers who challenge Achieva participants to think in new ways and radically expand their perspectives.
Patrick was not only a participant in the Pathbuilders Achieva program (formerly known as the Georgia 100) in 1997, but also served as a mentor in 2005, 2006, and 2007. "Women who graduate from Achieva are leaders," Patrick said. "They use their natural talent and skills acquired through the program to rise up to any and every challenge they face."
"It is no surprise that Dawn would be recognized as an Inspira Woman," remarked PKM's Managing Partner Phil Moore. "She has been a progressive member of our firm and the Atlanta community for a long time. This award is a testament to her hard work."
In addition to Patrick's participation in the Pathbuilders Achieva program, she is actively involved with many other organizations in the Atlanta community. She was previously Chairman of the Board of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and past President of Women in Technology (WIT). She was also a past nominee for Woman of the Year in Technology and was on the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2005 list of Who's Who in Atlanta Technology. She has served as Treasurer and was a founding board member of the Georgia CIO Leadership Association.
