The Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of the Chief Accountant has selected four professional accounting fellows for two-year terms beginning this summer.
At the SEC, the newly selected professional accounting fellows will be involved in the study and development of rule proposals under the federal securities laws, liaison with the professional accounting and auditing standards-setting bodies, and consultation with registrants on accounting and reporting matters.
- Robert B. Malhotra, currently a senior manager in KPMG LLP's Department of Professional Practice based in New York, N.Y.;
- Muneera Carr, currently a Senior Vice President in the Accounting Policy department of Bank of America Corporation in Charlotte, N.C.;
- Liza McAndrew Moberg, currently a senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's National Office based in Florham Park, N.J.; and
- Jeffrey E. Ellis, currently a senior manager in Deloitte & Touche LLP's Global Offerings Services group based in New York, N.Y. The four will join the current professional accounting fellows - Mark J. Barrysmith, Ashley W. Carpenter, Josh K. Jones, Sandie E. Kim, and Katrina A. Kimpel. Outgoing professional accounting fellows are Michael G. Gaynor, Timothy S. Kviz, and Joseph D.
