Texas accountant wins career makeover

Oscar Elizondo, a Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA) candidate member from Amarillo, TX, received a career makeover as the recipient of TSCPA's grand prize giveaway in a recent random drawing. Elizondo is an accountant with Amarillo accounting firm Kile & Co PC.

As the grand prize winner, Elizondo won a personal consultation with Certified Protocol Consultant Colleen Rickenbacher and a trip to TSCPA headquarters in Dallas. He received dining etiquette and networking tips, advice on dressing for success, and information on crafting a winning résumé during his one-on-one consult with Rickenbacher.

The promotion's second place winner was Tomasz Gibaszek, also of Amarillo. Gibaszek received a $100 gift card. Third place winner Jamie Peng of Dallas was given a $75 gift card.
