Windows 2000 set for Release
Microsoft has announced a release date of February 17 for its Windows 2000 operating system catering to network and company computers. The software will be available to manufacturers by the end of 1999, enabling them to make-ready their systems by the February debut.
Windows 2000 is the new operating platform that follows the company's NT product line. In fact, companies who are running NT 3.0 should know that Windows 2000 will only run on NT 4.0.
