Sleeter Group announces annual QuickBooks Awesome Add-On winners

The Sleeter Group recently announced its winners of the Awesome QuickBooks Add-ons for 2011. The accolade recognizes software programs, Web-based applications, and services that help enhance QuickBooks by giving users additional tools for managing their businesses.

Winners are selected by The Sleeter Group, a Pleasanton, CA-based provider of technical reference materials, software expertise, and QuickBooks training materials for accounting solutions consultants.

To qualify for the award, the products services must have the following attributes:

  • Developed and sold by a company with a reputation for outstanding customer support
  • Show superior design, implementation, and features
  • Integrate with QuickBooks using best practices of the QuickBooks SDK or IPP programming guidelines
  • Use appropriate transaction types and field population for recording data into QuickBooks so as to preserve and/or enhance the standard reporting features in QuickBooks
  • Conform to good accounting principles and operating standards

Following are the 2011 winners of the Awesome Add-ons for QuickBooks:

ViewMyPaycheck, Intuit Inc. ViewMyPaycheck is a free offering for QuickBooks Payroll subscribers and allows users to upload paycheck information to the cloud so employees can access pay stubs, vacation/sick time balances and W-2 forms securely. Employees can also view, print and download copies anytime, from anywhere.

WebKPI Business Intelligence Reporting, webKPI LLC. WebKPI delivers Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and benchmarking tools via a visual snapshot of a company's financials. It is provided via the Web so there is no hardware or software to install.

ShipGear by V-Technologies, V-Technologies. ShipGear offers turnkey solutions that integrate UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager with QuickBooks, Sage MAS 90 and 200, Peachtree by Sage, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Exact Macola, and eBay.

bMobile Route Manager, bMobileRoute Software. A route-management software system for direct store delivery (DSD), route sales, and route delivery. bMobile reduces operating expenses and increases sales opportunities for field staff.

SmartVault V3, SmartVault Corporation. SmartVault's integrated plug-in for QuickBooks offers customers a seamless experience for scanning, uploading, and finding documents within a familiar application.

Intuit Statement Writer, Intuit Inc. Intuit Statement Writer offers accountants the opportunity to produce full financial statements from QuickBooks data by brining the data directly into Excel and Word. This enables easy creation of properly formatted financial statements and supporting documents from QuickBooks.

The awards will be formally announced at The Sleeter Group's 2010 Accounting Solutions Conference the week of November 8, in Las Vegas.
