Intuit prepares to launch its inaugural accounting professionals user conference

Intuit has unveiled the roster of experienced guest lecturers, well-known industry authors, and Intuit employees who will conduct sessions at the 2008 Accounting Professionals User Conference Series. Hosted in Orlando, FL, and San Diego, CA this June, the 2-day, highly-interactive event features lecturers from members of Intuit QuickBooks, Lacerte Tax Development Group, QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program, Intuit Accountant Training Network, and MyCorp.

The 2008 Accounting Professionals User Conference Series is a world-class series of educational sessions designed to increase the productivity of accounting professionals and provide valuable networking opportunities with colleagues, Intuit staff, and industry experts, while earning accounting CPE credits.

Intuit product experts will feature a Learning Lounge to address questions on an array of Intuit offerings. Additionally, the IRS's Stakeholder Liaison organization will explain how they can help tax professionals meet their educational and professional needs. The IRS will also provide a demonstration on the search and navigation features of IRS.gov.

The Taxpayer Advocate Service will host a session to address how this independent organization within the IRS helps the public by resolving both individual and widespread issues through systemic advocacy.

User Conference courses include QuickBooks, Lacerte, and practice management sessions, as well as others specifically tailored to help accountants maximize efficiency across their most critical tax and accounting workflows.

QuickBooks accounting software users and consultants and Lacerte users are invited to join Intuit's roster of experienced guest lecturers, renowned industry authors, and trained Intuit staff as well as teams from the IRS.
