Intuit Expands Web Presence

Intuit, Inc., has unveiled a new Web site, IntuitAdvisor, offering a host of online solutions to help tax, accounting and financial professionals move from the physical world to the electronic world.

Included in the new site's offerings is the WorkSpace Pro feature, a subscription-based service allowing professionals to establish a customized online working environment in which private client sites may be created, information may be shared, and security will be maintained. The WorkSpace Pro feature is expected to be fully operational by mid-December and will require a one-time-only $95 activation fee as well as a $19.95 per month rental fee for up to five users, plus $3 per month per Private Client Site. A premium package will be available for $99.95 per month, which will include up to 50 Private Client Sites.

Another innovation of the IntuitAdvisor is Site Solutions, a subscription-based service where accounting professionals can create customized Web sites that will give them a professional presence on the Internet. Site Solutions are available at a fee of $19.95 per month, which includes domain name registration and Web hosting.

The main IntuitAdvisor site, IntuitAdvisor.com, is a free, customizable accounting portal site offering productivity management, calculation, and research tools, news, events, and continuing education course information.
