Gates Gives "Thumbs Up" at COMDEX

The latest and greatest from Microsoft chairman Bill Gates was announced on Sunday during the opening address at COMDEX '99 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel.

Gates told the audience that his company is very much devoted to continuing its vision in making the computer and Web interchangable and very personal in nature. He did not dwell on recent court rulings from a few weeks back; instead, he projected a bright and rosy future for the company.
