Block Signs on to Snap Tax Center
One of the recently emerging--and popular--dot.com companies is Snap, and H&R Block is counting on the site's popularity to boost its own bottom line.
A distributing and marketing agreement was signed this week that makes Block the primary content provider on Snap's Tax Center.
Snap is part of NBCi, short for the NBC Network's Internet services division. The Snap site will offer services similar to Block's own tax site, such as online tax preparation and filing. A charge of $9.95 will be charged to access and use the 1040 forms. Filing of 1040EZ forms is free.
