New River Innovation has announced a new alliance with Drake Software, a tax preparation solution vendor. The multiyear partnership provides New River Innovation with an established channel for introducing Beyond415 to the tax and accounting market. Beyond415 handles a variety of needs for the professional tax preparer after tax filing, such as IRS notices, issues, audits, and client management.
"We identified Drake as a partner based on the company's sound reputation as a customer service leader and provider of one of the profession's top tax preparation solutions," said Jim Buttonow, CPA, IRS practice and procedure expert, and cofounder of New River Innovation. "We are very excited to move forward with the Drake team on a number of initiatives developed to further promote Beyond415 within the accounting profession."
Executives at both companies will be cohosting a CPE-based series of educational Webinars on IRS practice and procedure beginning August 2011. Marketing campaigns promoting the alliance have already been launched.
John Sapp, Vice President of Strategic Development at Drake, stated, "Resolving problems with the IRS can be challenging and time consuming for tax professionals. Beyond415 is a unique tool that focuses, streamlines, and organizes communications with the IRS, allowing Drake customers the ability to better serve their clients.
"Working with Drake, we see great opportunity to provide practitioners with needed education on IRS compliance issues, as well as an opportunity to guide firms on integrating leading technologies like Drake and Beyond415 to accelerate operational efficiencies and better serve clients," said Buttonow.
The Drake–New River Innovation partnership was officially launched in July 2011.
