Morton's Steakhouse appreciates CPAs

On Thursday April 16th lucky CPAs in locations around the country were rewarded for their hard work with a complimentary Steak and Seafood Dinner for Two by Morton's, the Steakhouse. "We wanted to celebrate them for all the hard work they do especially at tax time," said Roger Drake, vice president of Morton's Restaurant Group.

CPAs were invited to submit their names to their local restaurant, or in some cases, friends in their offices suggested names, Drake said, for Morton's CPA Appreciation Day. One winner was selected randomly on April 15th. The event was publicized by the media and by word of mouth.

The promotion provided a great way for CPA's and their guests to celebrate the end of busy season and enjoy some fine dining.

"We had a really nice response," Drake said. In Cincinnati, for example, there were over 75 submissions. "We just wanted to reward people who work really hard." The winner in Cincinnati enjoyed the dinner with his wife. Morton's Steak and Seafood Dinner for Two is valued at $99.99.
