Internet Broadcast Highlights Employment Tax Return Forms

This month’s Tax Talk Today broadcast will teach practitioners preparing employment tax returns how to get the right information, in the right box, on the right form, to the right agency. The live Internet broadcast will bring together experts from the Social Security Administration, American Payroll Association, National Association of Tax Reporting and Payroll Management, and the Internal Revenue Service.

The program, which is co-sponsored by the IRS, will discuss SSN verification tools, the W-4 program, and the new EFTPS FTD Penalty Refund Program. This program will help employers avoid "No Match" letters from Social Security, tax deposit penalties, and W-2 penalties. Viewers will also preview the redesigned Form 941.

After an open discussion, the Tax Talk Today panelists will answer e-mailed, faxed or phoned-in viewer questions about employment tax returns and related documents.
