Schwab Launches New 401(k) Web Site

Charles Schwab Retirement Plan Services just announced a newly redesigned web site that will integrate the company’s 401(k) site, SchwabPlan, and the company’s site for individual investors, Schwab.com.

The redesign focused on delivering investor tools to its 401(k) participants and adding customizable advice so participants can be sure they are on the right track with their retirement goals.

Schwab’s technology offering has helped their participants become more informed – and active – investors. Transactions have increased 600% in the last year.

The site’s new design provides help for plan sponsors, too. The plan sponsor service center includes online administrative services and reporting. The site also allows plan sponsors to make customizations that personalize the site for their companies, including a place for a logo and tagline.
