Sage Adopts New Internet Strategy

Sage Software, the maker of such popular accounting titles as Acuity, DacEasy and Peachtree, has formally adopted a new Internet strategy to serve what it calls the new 'e-Volution' marketplace.

The strategy includes a focus on e-Commerce, e-Management and Application Delivery. For example, Acuity will be featured on what Sage calls 'Single Screen Shopping,' making available all Acuity functions on one site for purchasing managers.

The company is plans to roll out its e-Commerce line in the second and third quarters of this year, while e-Management and Application Delivery options are already available from resellers.
