New Jobs on the Horizon for Accounting Professionals
Results of a national poll of 1,400 CFOs from companies with 20 or more employees, show that 12 percent of CFOs anticipate hiring accounting and financial professionals in the first quarter of 2001.
The poll, conducted by Robert Half International, revealed that the strongest hiring activity is expected in the Mountain states where 19 percent of CFOs plan to add accounting and finance personnel. The Pacific region will see 18 percent of firms hiring new personnel. The percent will be lower in the South Central regions.
