Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, I was the youngest and only girl in my family. I decided that if I ever wanted to develop an identity, other than being someone's little sister, I needed to leave the state. And thus I did. I received my B.A. in Speech Communication from Denison University in Granville, OH. After graduating from Denison, I remained in Ohio and worked in the capacity of a Staff Director of a South African Orientation program where I taught time management and communication skills. I came to a point in my life that I realized I was more acclimated to earthquakes than tornados and decided to move back to California where I was employed as an Admissions Manager for an international student exchange organization. I have also had the awesome experience of working with a start up company as a Service Marketing Manager. In that position I created the company's pre-sales process and procedural manuals.

For the last six and a half years I worked for Ford Motor Credit Company. During that time frame I received my Masters in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. I have facilitated trainings at Ford Credit such as "Getting Back to Basics", Effective Communication, and diversity awareness. While at Ford Credit, I have always strived to look for opportunities for improvement. The challenge to create a process to exceed customers' expectations and increase profitability has always been invigorating. It was this determination that allowed me to create a process improvement document saving the company over $50k a year. It was this same determination that led me to RAS, where we are dedicated to helping accountants reach their full potential.

In my leisure time I enjoy writing songs, short stories, plays, and assisting my husband with his music in our home studio. I am excited to be a part of the RAS team where my innovation and experience is applied as I assist clients in creatively envisioning the dynamics of their organization.
