Intacct Adds Integrated Cash Management Application to Its Online Professional Accounting Suite

Intacct® Corporation, the leading provider of online professional accounting solutions, today announced the release of the Intacct Cash Management application. Seamlessly integrated with Intacct's General Ledger (GL) , Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) applications, the Cash Management application enables small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) to conveniently manage their cash position online and more effectively free up cash resources for activities that will help their business grow.

The Cash Management application enables Intacct accounting users to create customized internal controls for payment approvals, to automate the approval and routing process for payments, to schedule payments to be made at a future date, and to record, pay, and reconcile credit card transactions. In addition, because it is fully Internet-based, the Cash Management application allows accounting outsourcers and financial staff of multi-location SMEs to remotely manage corporate cash accounts, including checking, savings, and charge accounts.

"Managing a company's cash position is a critical task in growing businesses," said Intacct CEO David C. Thomas. "The Cash Management application for the first time, gives both accountants and their SME clients the sophisticated cash management capabilities that once were available only in very expensive client/server accounting systems."

"The Cash Management application's online payment approval process will help my clients enforce the internal controls that ensure that their company's money is spent appropriately," said Randy Harrod, principal of C. Randy Harrod CPA. "Automating the approval process online has the further advantage of saving time and enabling informed cash management decisions to be made even if the executives with approval authority are traveling. The Cash Management application, which is integrated with Intacct's Online Bill Payment, makes the bill payment process much more efficient. When bills or invoices arrive, an accounts payable representative can schedule the payment for the due date and not have to go back at a later date to pay the bill."

--Pricing and Availability--

The Intacct Cash Management application is available immediately to users of the Intacct system, and is included with the Intacct General Ledger application at no additional cost
