Innovative New CPA Group Forms
The Alliott Group is an accounting firm network consisting of 115 firms with over 180 offices located in 56 countries. Alliott Group North America, the new North American arm of this association, hopes to attract mid-sized firms that embrace innovative management strategies.
The purposes of this organization include working together to create new revenue opportunities, develop programs geared toward attraction and retention of talented personnel, share information, take a leadership role in the global professional services arena, and expand services.
A Practice Development conference, called "No Boundaries," is scheduled for September 11 and 12 in Las Vegas to help launch the North American group. The conference will feature speakers who will discuss strategies for sustaining growth, identifying and developing services, selling services, and attracting top quality people.
Progressive, mid-sized firms that are interested in attending the September 12 conference, or finding out more about Alliott Group North America can contact Anita Meola via phone at 908-879-9795 or via email at email@example.com.

Voice of the Editor
Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
