Girl Scouts Sue for Cookie Dough

Is there a Jurisprudence Badge for Girls Scouts? If so then members of one Girl Scout troop in Wisconsin are well on their way to earning it as they take two couples who ordered cookies but don’t pay for them to small-claims court.

“We call many times before taking this step,” Christine Slowinski, communications director for the Great Blue Heron Girl Scout Council told the Associated Press (AP). “We send them letters. When all else fails, this is our last resort.”

The couples have failed to pay for their cookies during the last two annual cookie drives and owe $301.42 and $1,485.68.
