Yet Another Big 5 Defection to the Dot-Com World

Andersen Consulting knows the power of the Internet. It's sister company Arthur Andersen is redesigning corporate strategies and setting up billion dollar venture funds to capitalize on the dot-com revolution. It also knows all too well that the Internet is responsible for yet another top-level defection from this Big 5 firm.

Jim Greene, a managing partner of Andersen Consulting's dot-com business segment, is leaving to join perksatwork.com as President and CEO effective February 14. This follows the high profile departure of AC CEO George Shaheen and other top brass from Andersen Consulting who were wooed to top positions, high salaries and incredible stock option packages in dot-com's over the past few months.

perksatwork.com was founded in 1998 to help employees better balance their work and personal lives, save employees time and money on hundreds of quality products and services, and facilitate a tight-knit employee community through the corporate intranet. In its brief history, the company has assembled a management team that now includes senior executives with experience from a variety of computer software and Fortune 500 companies.

Greene's responsibilities will focus on managing all aspects of the company's growing employee portal business.
