Vrakas/Blum announces promotions

The Brookfield, WI-based public accounting and business advisory firm of Vrakas/Blum, S.C. recently announced the promotions of Ann M. Binzak, CPA, Kristin L. Ferch, CPA, and Lindsay M. Rudkin, CPA. Binzak was promoted to senior accountant, and Ferch and Rudkin are now senior auditors.

Binzak joined Vrakas/Blum in 2005. In her new role, she prepares and reviews corporate and individual tax returns for clients in the firm’s tax department. Binzak previously served as a staff accountant. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy degree in 2005 and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2004. Binzak currently resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Ferch joined Vrakas/Blum in 2006 and previously served as a staff auditor. She earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy degree in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Ferch also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the university in 2004. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Ferch is a resident of Brookfield.

Rudkin, formerly a staff auditor, joined Vrakas/Blum in 2005. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy degree in 2005 and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2004. Rudkin’s memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) where she also serves as secretary of the Young Professionals Committee. She currently resides in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
