Vertex Property Tax Reference Joins CCH State Tax Offerings

CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, announced on Monday that the company had acquired the Property Tax Reference from Vertex Incorporated. The product will immediately be rebranded CCH Property Tax Reference as it joins CCH’s authoritative and popular line of state tax online, print and CD-ROM products for tax, accounting and compliance professionals.

“CCH is committed to providing professionals with the most authoritative, comprehensive research resources available,” Angela Darrow, CCH product manager, said in a prepared statement. “We’re pleased to be able to expand our line of market-leading state tax offering with the Property Tax Reference, which offers extensive property tax information at the local level, covering a wide array of jurisdictions.”

CCH and Vertex, a leading provider of tax technology solutions, have implemented a transition program. In addition to the immediate rebranding, CCH will begin fulfilling Property Tax Reference orders and updates in February 2006.

“CCH has a strong reputation for topical expertise and analysis in the state and local tax arena,” Ed Wallace, vice president, Corporate Business Development of Vertex said in a prepared statement. “We feel our customer would be well-served as part of the CCH family, which offers both trusted tax expertise and excellent customer service.”
