Tofias announces the election of Michael Corrente to director

Tofias PC, New England's leading accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Michael F. Corrente, JD, LLM, has been elected Director in the Tax Group.

"Mike has developed close working relationships with many of our clients and his leadership is valuable in growing the Firm as we continue to attract New England's largest privately-held and public companies. Together he will assist us in our goal of becoming the leading accounting firm in New England," comments Tracy Gallagher, Managing Director.

Michael works in the Providence office and joined the firm in 2006 from a Boston area accounting firm where he was the Partner in Charge of Tax Consulting Services and the Public Companies Group. Prior to that, he served as a Tax Consulting Senior Manager in Ernst & Young's New England Tax Practice. Michael has more than 14 years of experience serving public and private clients in the technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and professional services industries. He has assisted many multinational companies in developing and implementing proactive federal, state, and international tax plans to minimize their worldwide tax liability. Michael received his Bachelor of Science from Bryant University, Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law, and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
