Texas firm joins CPAmerica International network

A large regional CPA firm in Houston, Texas, has joined the membership of CPAmerica International. Harper & Pearson Company, P.C., recently became the newest member.

CPAmerica International is an exclusive network of more than 75 large, independent CPA firms. Founded in 1978, CPAmerica provides continuing education, marketing, practice management support and other services for the betterment of its firms.

CPAmerica has affiliate members in more than 400 offices in 85 countries through its strategic alliance with Horwath International. This affiliation makes CPAmerica International the world's largest network of CPA and consulting firms, with annual combined revenues approaching $3 billion.

Harper & Pearson Company, P.C., provides certified public accounting and business consulting services to clients in the Houston area. The firm employs a staff of 81, including 11 partners. It provides services in such specialty areas as employee benefit plans, financial institutions and nonprofit organizations. The firm also specializes in the death care industry.

Applicants for CPAmerica membership must undergo a rigorous quality review, and only those firms with the highest standards in all practice areas are selected.
