Texas CPA Wins Blog Award
Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) was honored by the Texas Public Relations Association (TPRA), with a Bronze Best of Texas award for the business blog, www.fromgregshead.com.
The blog, authored by Gregory Price, CPA, Director of Consulting Solutions at PKF Texas, provides insight, information and commentary on accounting and technology trends.
“We are very excited that TPRA awarded PKF Texas with such a prestigious award for our blog. Many members of our internal team contributed to its design and operational effectiveness,” said Gregory Price, CPA, Director of Consulting Solutions. “This is a testimony to their passion for our firm, and our firm’s commitment to the emerging business and technology community in Houston and Texas.”
Other Best of Texas winners included Shell Oil, the City of McKinney, Tex., and Half Price Books. The awards ceremony was held on March 10, 2007 in conjunction with TPRA’s annual conference in Houston.

Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
