Taub Designated Acting Chief Accountant
Scott Taub was designated Acting Chief Accountant by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Christopher Cox last week.
Taub has served as Deputy Chief Accountant since September 2002. Prior to joining the SEC he was a partner in the Professional Standards Group of Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois. From June 1999 to June 2001, he also served as a professional accounting fellow with the SEC’s Office of Chief Accountant.

Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there.
