St. Louis CPA firms announce merger

Belleville, Illinois-based Ganim, Meder, Childers & Hoering, P.C. (GMCH) is joining LarsonAllen LLP (LarsonAllen) on October 1, 2009. GMCH specializes in accounting, tax, and consulting services across multiple industries. This brings together two top 20 accounting firms in the St. Louis metropolitan statistical area. 

"LarsonAllen has a small-firm culture but with the benefits and resources of a larger firm," says Randy Ganim, principal with GMCH. "As our clients continue to grow and their needs expand, we are excited to bring them the additional resources that LarsonAllen has to offer, including business valuation, cost segregation, and enhanced industry-specific consulting."
 
Both firms share an industry focus in health care, manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, nonprofit, transportation, employee benefits, and financial institutions, among other specialty areas.

"GMCH has had impressive growth since their inception in 1986 due to their tremendous effort and a fantastic culture."
 
GMCH brings approximately 80 skilled professionals to LarsonAllen with extensive experience in a broad cross section of industries. Together, LarsonAllen and GMCH will continue to deliver a noticeably different client experience with an increased footprint in St. Louis, Missouri and Belleville, Edwardsville, and Glen Carbon, Illinois.
