Schneider Downs expands state and local tax practice

Schneider Downs, one of the top 50 public accounting, tax, and business advisory services firms in the U.S., has recently appointed Frank L. Dantonio as managing director for the firm's state and local tax practice.

Dantonio brings more than 25 years of state and local tax experience to Schneider Downs. Prior to joining Schneider Downs, he was a tax partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Columbus, OH and had corporate tax management positions at Wendy's International, American Electric Power, and Abbott/Ross Laboratories.

At Schneider Downs, Dantonio will be involved with a variety of state and local tax issues including sales and use taxes, property taxes, income taxes, due diligence reviews, and audit assistance and appeals.

Dantonio, who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Otterbein College in Westerville, OH, serves on the tax committees of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and The Ohio Manufacturers Association and is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation, Ohio Society of CPAs and faculty for Lorman Education Services.
