RSM McGladrey Continues Expansion with Two Acquisitions

National accounting, tax, and consulting firm, RSM McGladrey, a subsidiary of H&R Block, has announced the acquisition of Dallas accounting firm Fisk & Robinson.

"Adding Fisk & Robinson to our existing Dallas location strengthens our presence in one of the top-25 markets in the country," said Tom Rotherham, CEO of RSM McGladrey. Fisk & Robinson adds a staff of 36 to RSM McGladrey's Dallas operation.

In addition, RSM McGladrey has acquired the operations of James & Scott Associates, Inc., a human resources consulting firm with offices in Lincolnshire, IL and Milwaukee, WI.

James & Scott Associates is a 23-person firm that focuses on valuing work, publishing pay and benefit data, and designing compensation programs for executives, sales, management and staff personnel.

"Both RSM McGladrey and James & Scott focus on fast-growing, mid-sized businesses, so we know and understand each others' clients," said Joe Adams, managing director of RSM McGladrey's Chicago area practice.

RSM McGladrey, Inc. has more than 3,000 employees and 100 offices nationwide and is part of RSM International, which has 600 offices in 75 countries.
