RSM International welcomes UK-member Bentley Jennison
Press release: RSM International has announced the addition of UK-based Bentley Jennison to its worldwide network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms. As one of the most progressive and fastest growing professional services firms in the UK, Bentley Jennison significantly enhances RSM International's ability to serve the needs of global businesses in the UK and Europe.
RSM McGladrey, a leading U.S. accounting, tax and business consulting organization and the largest member of RSM International, enthusiastically endorses the selection of Bentley Jennison to help strengthen an already robust network with additional capabilities throughout Europe and to reinforce RSM International's position as the seventh largest global accounting network.
Bentley Jennison formally joined RSM International on August 21, 2007, having successfully completed RSM International's comprehensive due diligence process.
The admission of Bentley Jennison reinforces RSM International's position as the seventh largest global accounting network. Since April, the RSM Executive Office team has conducted a full analysis of firms in the UK market. Several discussions were held before identifying Bentley Jennison as the optimum choice for RSM International based on their commitment to quality, the current and future needs in the UK and the ability of Bentley Jennison to grow and lead RSM International in the UK and Europe.
Recently awarded "Large Firm of the Year" by Accountancy Age magazine, Bentley Jennison has doubled in size every four years since it was founded in 1984, with total fee income of $128 million last year. Its clients range across both the public and corporate sectors and include blue chip and international names such as Premier foods, Selfridges, JCB, Dairy Crest, The United Nations, and The European Commission. The firm has an extensive national presence in the UK market, with key offices nationwide, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Edinboro.
To be known as RSM Bentley Jennison, the firm has strong audit and international tax capabilities, combined with particular focus and experience in providing risk management and internal audit services. Additionally, it is one of the largest providers of advisory services to the UK public sector and is increasingly recognized as a preferred adviser by the corporate sector.

Voice of the Editor
Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
