R. Michael Cain elected chairman of The Leading Edge Alliance

R. Michael (Mike) Cain, CPA/PFS has been elected Chairman of The Leading Edge Alliance (LEA), a multi-billion dollar international association of 140 major regional CPA firms across the United States and in over 80 countries worldwide. Cain is a founder and co-managing partner of the Nashville-based Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC).

Cain has a wide range of experience with a variety of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, services, restaurants, and others. He frequently consults with clients regarding the acquisition and sales of businesses and provides a wide range of wealth management services to high wealth individuals.

Cain is active in many professional and civic organizations, including the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), where he serves as president-elect and on the Board of Directors. He has previously chaired and served on a number of statewide committees of the TSCPA. Cain also currently serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for Murray State University School of Business.

Cain is a magna cum laude graduate of Murray State University with a degree in accounting. He also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Business Valuation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA.
