PKF Texas blog wins more awards

Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) has won two American Marketing Association (AMA) Crystal awards for their blog, www.fromgregshead.com.

The blog was honored in the Integrated Public relations category and was the first winner in the new Maverick Marketing category. The Maverick Marketing category recognizes campaigns that are innovative and achieve measurable results.

Authored by Gregory Price, CPA, Director of Consulting Solutions at PKF Texas, fromgregshead.com provides insight, information and commentary on accounting and technology trends.

“We are honored to be the first recipient of a Crystal for Maverick Marketing,” said Price. “The blog has had many successes since the launch in January 2006 and these awards represent our firm’s commitment to business and technology.”

Other Crystal winners included Lopez Negrete Communications, Parker and Hayden and Weatherford International.

Each year the Houston Chapter of the AMA sponsors the Annual AMA Crystal Awards. Every entry is required to have a marketing focus and to be in its original form as it was when it was launched or completed. The entries recognized demonstrated the ability to produce real results by using effective insight, objectives, strategy and tactics.
