PKF Texas accounting marketer inducted into AAM Marketing Hall of Fame

PKF Texas is pleased to announce that Karen Love, director, practice growth, was inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Hall of Fame.

"For the past nine years, Karen has had an immeasurable impact on our firm. From being an early proponent of PKF Texas' corporate social responsibility efforts to providing critical input on the strategic vision of the firm, Karen has played a tremendous role in doubling the firm's growth in the past five years," said Kenneth Guidry, CPA, President. "Karen is an invaluable member of the PKF Texas team and I'm proud she has been recognized and honored in this way by her peers."

In 2002, Love was named Marketer of the Year by CPA Marketing Report and one of Accounting Today's Most Influential People. She served on the national AAM board of directors from 2004-2006 and was instrumental in founding the Houston chapter. She currently serves on the AAM Houston Chapter board. Love is sought out by junior marketers and CPA partners as a mentor to further niche/marketing practices within firms across the country and internationally.

Love's dedication and outreach extends beyond the accounting industry to the Houston marketplace. She is the current chair for the Greater Houston Partnership's (GHP) 2009 World Trade Soiree, honoring the Houston Rockets. She is a member of the Steering Committee for Opportunity Houston, and sits on the advisory boards for the Houston Technology Center, BioHouston, and the Council on Drugs and Alcohol Houston.

Hall of Fame members are selected by the AAM board of directors for their dedication to the accounting marketing profession and the accounting industry as a whole.

Love was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 20th Annual AAM Summit in Austin, Texas on June 4, 2009. Love's Practice Growth team PKF Texas Raissa Evans, senior manager, and Jen Lemanski, aenior apecialist, and President Kenneth Guidry attended.
