New Chair Named to BDO Seidman

Second-tier accounting firm BDO Seidman has named Denis Field CEO and chairman of the board. Replacing Richard Roedel, Field has serves as the leader for the firm's national tax practice for the last four years.

Field also is the youngest partner ever to be elected to head the firm. At 41 years old, has has worked since 1983 for the firm in a variety of positions. He also is an attorney and a member of the American Bar Association.

Among his accomplishments is an alliance with Lincoln Financial Services and assistance in reworking BDO's structure from a geographic presence to serving vertical markets.
