Memphis firm announces formation of new consulting group

The Memphis, TN-based CPA and financial advisory firm of Watkins Uiberall, PLLC and the management and consulting firm of J. William Appling & Associates are pleased to announce the formation of Watkins Uiberall Strategic Consulting Group, LLC.

Watkins Uiberall Strategic Consulting Group, LLC specializes in providing highly customized financial, accounting, business advisory, process alignment, and delivery improvements to clients in the health and medical industries as well as a wide variety of industry segments. Bill Appling, principal of J. William Appling & Associates will assume the role of president of Watkins Uiberall Strategic Consulting Group, LLC effective immediately.

Watkins Uiberall, PLLC employs over 60 individuals including 7 partners and 40 professionals in the Memphis area.

Bill Appling has over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. He founded J. William Appling & Associates in 2000 to assist health care clients in achieving growth and profitability through customized delivery systems and process alignment structures. Notable accomplishments include a former membership in the national board of directors for the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), American College of Medical Practice Executives Fellow, and numerous faculty appointments at local universities. Appling is a national speaker and published author.
