McGladrey & Pullen announces the appointment of Bruce Jorth to executive partner - risk management

McGladrey & Pullen LLP (McGladrey) has announced the appointment of Bruce Jorth as executive partner. Jorth will be overseeing and leading the newly formed National Office of Risk Management, which will be responsible for risk management on a firm-wide basis. The office will also oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of the firm's quality control system.

Jorth has held various positions with the McGladrey organization including being a member of the board of directors, assurance leader of the McGladrey Florida Practice, as well as leader of the firm's quality control delivery structure taskforce, a team whose objective was to re-engineer the manner by which McGladrey delivers quality to its clients. Jorth also served on the firm's implementation task force for the McGladrey risk assessment model and the Editorial Board of Fundamentals, a McGladrey informational newsletter focused on the not-for-profit industry and available through a free subscription and on the firm's Web site.

Jorth joined McGladrey in 1981 and has been a partner with the firm since 1994.
