Maryland CPA firms announce merger

DeLeon & Stang, CPAs and Advisors has merged with Daniel G. Falk & Associates, effective January 15, 2009. The combined firm will be known as DeLeon & Stang, CPAS and Advisors.

"This merger will only help improve our dedicated service to our clients," said Al DeLeon, CPA, Partner of DeLeon & Stang. "Though we continue to grow, we continually strive to maintain our commitment to exceptional service and will never lose our close personal relationships with our clients."

The recent merger helps enhance the services of DeLeon & Stang by expanding its service offerings for its existing client base, as well as the newly acquired clients.

Daniel Falk, CPA founded Daniel G. Falk Associates, PC in May 1978. Located in Rockville, MD, the firm's area of focus has included several industries, individuals and small to mid-sized businesses.

Founded in 1984, DeLeon & Stang, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, provides accounting, tax, audit, advisory, financial, business and professional services to both individuals and organizations. DeLeon & Stang has a staff of over 20 professionals dedicated to providing business, individual and advisory services. The firm also sustains industry expertise in areas that include credit unions, common interest realty associations (CIRAs), not-for-profits, hospitality organizations, individuals and small to medium-sized businesses.

"Our decision to merge was based on a number of factors, but for the most part we recognized that we share identical service philosophies – always putting clients first and focusing on giving back to the community," said Daniel Falk, President of Daniel G. Falk & Associates. "Combining our resources and knowledge base is a tremendous win for our clients and our professionals."

The merged practice will retain the name DeLeon & Stang, CPAs and Advisors and its offices will be located in the current DeLeon & Stang facility at 100 Lakeforest Blvd., Suite 650, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, (301) 948-9825.
