Ireland San Filippo announces promotion of Damon Lewis to audit partner-in-charge

Ireland San Filippo, LLP (ISF), a San Francisco Bay Area leader in audit, tax and business process consulting, today announced that Damon Lewis has been appointed the Firm's Audit & Accounting Partner-in-Charge.

Lewis has over fifteen years of public accounting experience and has most recently led the firm's Technology Assurance & Advisory Group (TAAG), which provides client-focused, process-based audit and financial review services to venture-backed technology companies and venture capital firms.

Lewis takes over from Ernie Rossi, who served in the role for the prior three years, and who will continue to serve on the firm's Executive Committee. "This is a great move for Ireland San Filippo," said Rossi. "Damon is a visionary leader, and is beyond passionate about our profession, our clients and our people. He epitomizes our firm values of inclusiveness, teamwork, integrity and quality."

Lewis commented that "Ernie has successfully led our department through some significant changes in the past few years: going paperless, the refinement of our industry practices, and the enhancement and implementation of our world-class audit approach. It is a pleasure to take on the role at this important time in our firm's history, and I'm looking forward to building on these past successes."

Ireland San Filippo was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area. With offices in San Mateo, San Jose, Fremont, and Morgan Hill, CA, Ireland San Filippo employs over 125 people.

Ireland San Filippo is a multi-service public accounting and consulting firm that brings actionable business solutions to its clients through its unique brand of service, industry-specific knowledge, technical expertise and its ISF Knowledge Series publications and classes.
